Seamen's Memorial Wall and Garden - Rotary Park, Bramble Street, Eden:
Erected as a memorial to all seamen who have sailed from the port of Eden that have been lost at sea and never recovered. The wall was constructed following the tragic loss of the fishing trawler Shiralee with all hands on 10 August, 1978.
Twenty four names are displayed on plaques on the wall, while the nearby circular garden remembers those who lost their lives through their work sea but were recovered. and in the nearby circular garden.

names of a father and son, lost to the sea on separate occasions. The earliest is that of 22-year-old Norwegian Peter Lia, lost during a whale chase in Twofold Bay in September 1881. He was reputedly the only whaler killed during the century of whaling at Twofold Bay.
