Estelle Star wreck:

Constructed in 1927 as a ferry, the timber-built Estelle (later renamed Estelle Star) was converted at Cowes (Vic.) for commercial fishing in 1955. She was used in the tuna fishery in Eden (NSW) and Port Lincoln (SA), and prawn fishing in Gulf St. Vincent (SA) before catching fire and sinking of the Eyre Peninsula (SA) on 15 May 1978. Her wreck now lays in about 26 metres of water, becoming a recreational fishing reef . However in 2019, fishing activities in the area were prohibited in order to protect depleted snapper stocks.
