Bicentenary pioneer memorial plaques & trees, Eden:

This series of commemorative plaques and tree plantings were organised by the Eden Bicentennial Committee and undertaken as part of the town's bicentenary Australia Day commemorations in 1988 to mark two hundred years since European settlement of the continent. Three trees were planted and associated plaques unveiled near the town's scout hall by scouts to commemorate early European pioneers Sir Oswald Brierly, S. and H. Solomon and Thomas Raine. Trees were also planted and plaques unveiled in Wellings Park to remember Charles and Martha Kebby; James and Robert Allen; and Patrick Whelan.
