SABINA PIKE:

Successful local business woman Sabina Pike purchased the one acre allotment for the Australasia late in 1904. A divorcee with a wealth of experience in the local hotel trade, "Aunty Pike" had previously operated Eden's Commercial and Great Southern Hotels before building the Australasia. She remained publican for almost two decades.
